Chepstow Racecourse plays host to the legendary Sir Tom Jones this summer in a special one off race night appearance. The Welsh icon will return to home soil to bring down the house on Friday 11th July after an evening of trackside excitement with seven scheduled live races.
The premier racing venue, known for holding the Welsh National, will open its gates at 3pm. A series of thrilling flat races on its oval 2 mile course will take place starting at 6pm. The final race is scheduled for 9.10pm after which Sir Tom will take to the stage at 9:30pm to entertain the crowds with his legendary vocals and extensive repertoire of hit songs.

Chepstow is a year round race course holding a series of race days and superb events throughout the year. Notable upcoming race fixtures include the Caribbean Race Night on Friday 25th July featuring a Bob Marley tribute act, cocktail bar and steel drum band. Thursday 14th August hosts Ladies Evening with a Westlife and Boyzone tribute set to entertain after the day’s races. Music only events at Chepstow this year include Proms in the Park on Saturday 23rd August, an evening of classical music from the Welsh National Opera Orchestra as well as an aerial display from the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and a closing fireworks display.
