Golf and glamour are set to join forces once again at the Celtic Manor Resort this July for the Celebrity Cup 2014. Taking place from the 4th – 6th July, the Celebrity Cups pits he four home nations of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland against each other in a star studded three day tournament on its Roman Road course. With names such as Gavin Hastings and Kenny Logan defending the reigning champions Scotland, Gethin Jones teeing off for Wales, Mike Tindall and Jodie Kid flying the flag for England and Boyzone trio Keith Duffy, Brian McFadden and Ronan Keating swinging for Ireland, the cup brings together famous faces from the worlds of sport and entertainment.
Fancy making a luxurious weekend of it? The hospitality package tickets permit access to the Celebrity Cup on Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th July. Inclusive in the hospitality package is all day access to the Lodge Brasserie, which hosts fantastic views of the Roman Road course. Ticket holders will also receive breakfast drink and pastries on arrival and a Pimm’s reception before a four course lunch. Cream tea will be served later in the day, with complimentary drinks available throughout. This exclusive package is perfect for corporate hospitality or that special weekend getaway.
For fans that really want to interact with the stars, the Celebrity Cup Gala Dinner will take place on the evening of Saturday 5th July. Hosted by the BBC’s Andrew Cotter and Sky’s Di Dougherty, the Gala Dinner welcomes guests with a champagne reception, a four course meal, complimentary drinks, live celebrity interviews and a charity auction. Of course, there’s also the opportunity to wine and dine among not only the celebs taking part in the cup but a wealth of other famous faces including golfing megastar Colin Montgomerie.
Single day tickets are available priced at £5 adults and seniors, £3 children (3-15) for the Friday. Saturday and Sunday tickets are £20 adult, £15 senior and £5 children per day. Season tickets, which allow admission for all three days are priced at £35 adult, £25 senior and £10 children. Under 3’s go free. Tickets for the hospitality package are £145 per person per day whilst tickets to the Gala Dinner are available in Platinum of Gold at £145 and £130 respectively. Parking is available on site but not inclusive in any ticket price. Free shuttle buses will be running to and from Newport train station throughout the tournament.
