BBC Journalist and present of the Northwest Tonight show, Dave Guest will be hosting a charity event in Chester this March to raise awareness and more importantly funds for the Neuromuscular Centre in Winsford.
The five-star black tie event will be held at the Long Room of Chester Racecourse, and will feature a feast of culinary delights throughout the night which will be rounded off with a raffle to raise funds for the incredible work that takes place at the NMC.
Dave Guest has worked for the bbc over 33 years, winning the award for outstanding contribution back in 2014 at the BBC's Ruby Awards for regional programming. He'll also be giving a talk about his life and career, and no doubt has some stories to tell!
The centre provides support for sufferers and families coping with Neuromusclar conditions which are rare, but extremely destructive. Muscle-wasting conditions are largely uncurable, but charities like the Neuromusclar Centre are able to offer support, information and advice along with resources to help make life a little easier to cope with.
Tickets are £59, which includes a four-course menue, half a bottle of wine per person and a cheese course.
