By choosing a Days Inn stay, you can Count on Us to protect you and our team at a time when safety and comfort are of paramount importance. We have introduced additional safety measures to give you peace of mind during your time with us, whatever the reason for your stay.
On arrival, all guests are encouraged to take a moment to sanitise their hands before entering. We are also asking guests to ensure only one member of their group attends check in to assist us in ensuring social distancing guidelines are met.
We have redesigned the check in process to be as short and safe as possible. All our reception desks have had protective screens installed and we will be requesting card-only payment types. Ideally, we will charge the card used to make the booking to reduce PIN entry and get guests to their rooms as quickly as we can. For reassurance, room keys will have been sanitised and placed in a sealed envelope ready for collection.
In public areas such as corridors and stairwells, we’re asking everyone to be considerate by maintaining a safe social distance and allowing others to leave corridors and stairwells before entering them. We will be enhancing our regular sanitisation of touchpoints within public areas throughout the day and night, with hand sanitiser available at reception and on entry to the hotel.
We have put great thought into ensuring bedrooms are safe, comfortable and gives the best night's sleep possible. In addition to our normal high levels of cleanliness and attention to detail, we've introduced additional cleaning and sanitisation activities paying particular attention to those surfaces touched most often, using anti-viral disinfectant throughout. As well as room keys, you'll also find other items in rooms to be sanitised and sealed, as well as all crockery being machine dishwashed at high temperature ready for use. Some non-essential, decorative items have been removed, but we will happily put them to be back in a room should a guest wish.
During stays, housekeeping is available solely on request as our team will not enter bedrooms once a guest has checked in to protect everyone. To request an in-stay clean, guests are to place the "Please Clean My Room" sign on the outside of the door before 11am. Alternatively towels, pillows or other replacement items can be requested from Reception, which will be brought to the bedroom and left outside.
Our touchless check out means guests can get on their way as swiftly as necessary – keys are deposited in the key box at reception and we will do the rest! More information about the Wyndham ‘Count on Us’ programme can be found here or by watching the video.
