All about Sevenoaks

Situated in Western Kent, Sevenoaks is a small town with a population of over 29,000. It is well connected to London with a main line railway connecting the 21 miles between Sevenoaks and London, and the Sevenoaks bypass connecting it to the popular M25 and M26 roads surrouding it.

Steeped in history, Sevenoaks boasts its own Roman remains, stately homes and pictureqsue landscapes making it a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Its nearby towns and villages include Westerham, Edenbridge and Eynsford which all overflow with vibrant shopping streets, architectural treasures and plenty of cafes and restaurants to enjoy great food and relax with friends.

The Discover Nation Trust properties are a must-see, including the properties at Chartwell where Winston Churchill once lived and the Quebec house, home to an 18th century soldier. Hever Castle, the home of Anne Boleyn throughout her childhood is also a popular attraction with its double moat and intriguing stories to tell.

Home to Kent's biggest festival every August, the nature reserve was the first of it's kind, created from a former gravel quarry, boasting five lakes and dense woodlands for an intriguing family day out enjoying the wildlife.

Lullingstone Roman Villa
